About us

About us

Melody's Gospel choir was set up to encourage people to come and sing together, learn harmonies, and built their confidence in singing music together.

It is not an exclusive choir, we welcome all abilities and want to make sure no one is excluded from being able to be part of a fun choir!

The choir was set up a year ago by Faith, with the help of other musicians in Cheltenham has put together a fun programme of music which everyone can enjoy. Faith has trained professionally in Flute and Voice plus lead the Music for the Charity GO! and is passionate about people taking their love of singing to the next level. Now joint Music Director Cat joined the team in its second term and has become a huge asset to the choir, Cat is a BA Music graduate, who has taught Internationally and teaches flute and piano as well as running music ensembles for Gloucestershire Music and co-director of the Take Note Choir!

We have been lucky enough to have a choir full of really enthusiastic, wonderful people - now embarking on our third term. We are aiming for the choir to go from strength to strength so we can help expand music in the community and create a really positive impact for people, plus local groups and charities that can benefit from our singing.
