About us
Melody's Gospel choir was set up to encourage people to come and sing together, learn harmonies, build their confidence in singing music together.
It is not an exclusive choir, we welcome all abilities and want to make sure no one is excluded from being able to be part of a fun choir!
The choir was set up 3 years ago, with the help of other musicians in Cheltenham has put together a fun programme of music which everyone can enjoy. Our Choir leader Faith, trained professionally in Flute and Voice plus led the Music for the Charity GO! and is passionate about people taking their love of singing to the next level - all whilst having fun.
We have been lucky enough to have a choir full of really enthusiastic, wonderful people joined by some great musicians - now embarking on our 4th year! We are aiming for the choir to go from strength to strength so we can help expand music in the community and create a really positive impact for people, plus local groups and charities that can benefit from our singing.
Our Choir Leader Faith Sanderson
Faith studied professionally in Flute and Voice in Cheltenham, then went on to study at Cardiff University completing a MBA/BA in Business targeted at Charity Development. Going on to help run music programmes for a National Charity to help influence and inspire people from all walks of life get involved in music.
Faith started this project to help inspire people to sing, bringing together musicians and those who also want to help bring communities together through music, for all abilities!
